The crop is commonly grown in the month of June and July and can be harvested by November and may extend up to February. The first flower comes in 60-75 days after sowing and the bolls appear within 190-210 days after sowing. The plants attain height of about 120-150 cms. It is susceptible to bollworms and mildly susceptible to prodenia and mites. This variety is spreading fast on account of its high demand in the market. It is generally cultivated in the area of Gujarat and in Maharashtra.
